Our Commitment
We built this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard referenced in ADA guidance for websites, and we review it on an ongoing basis.
What We Have Done
- Text and controls meet WCAG AA color contrast.
- Headings follow a logical order, with one main heading per page.
- Images have text alternatives; decorative icons are hidden from screen readers.
- Every link, button, menu, and question panel works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- A "Skip to main content" link appears at the top of each page.
- The mobile menu is a labeled button that announces whether it is open and closes with the Escape key.
- Pages reflow on small screens and when zoomed to 400% without sideways scrolling.
- Motion effects such as smooth scrolling are turned off when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Phone and email links let you contact us without using a form.
- Pages are checked with automated testing (axe-core) and by hand with a keyboard.
Known Limitations
Some parts of the site come from third-party providers we do not fully control:
- Quote request form and booking calendar. Our online form and calendar are provided by our website platform. If it is hard to use with your device or assistive technology, call 561-722-2896 or email us and we will take your request directly.
- Chat or review widgets, if added in the future, may have their own limitations. The same information will always be available by phone or email.

How We Test
Palm & Pine Home Services assesses this site itself, with help from our web partner, using automated accessibility scans and manual keyboard and screen-reader checks before launch and after major updates.
